We arrived at the USC Archaeology lab Monday a little early so we could begin putting THE pot together.  However there was one last step.  Josiah had to number each piece.  Yes, and three hours later we went back home.

  1. What an amazing experience ! The labelling of the pieces reminds me of what I did recently to code our rocks in class and all the inks kept smudging – next time around, India Ink it shall be!

      The white out is water soluble so the India ink isn’t truly permanent. I think it also gives a good platform upon which to write. There is something that was mentioned in passing to use instead of white out to make it permanent.
