That kind of day

Ahhh.

What were you thinking with that title?  I bet I know.  Especially those of you living in SC where we are under day two of a tropical rain.

You were thinking it. That phrase implies such a negative or at the least depressing next line.

It was the kind of day where pomegranates were pealed under water (way easier and less messy).

It was the kind of day where bread was eaten hot from the oven – crispy and tasty.

It was the kind of day where friends leave mini-hole punches at their front doors so that projects can be furthered.

It was the kind of day where children built massive Lego structures – castles and garages complete with working parts.

It was the kind of day where Venn diagrams actually had practical relevance in multiples and factors.

It was the kind of day children master the art of paper cutting with a paper cutter all by themselves.

It was that kind of day.
